Contact Lens Care
Whats New

Contact lenses are small plastic disks with specific optical powers. They drape over the cornea or front of the eye. They don’t actually “contact” the eye; they float on a layer of natural tears that covers the corneal surface. Optical powers in the lens correct vision deficiencies such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, irregular corneal shapes and surfaces, and the age-related inability to focus on objects up close.

A medical device that requires proper wear and care
It’s important to remember: Contact lenses are a medical device regulated by the Food and Drug Administration. By law, they must be prescribed by an eye care professional who is specially trained and certified. Good compliance in the proper wear and care of your contact lenses is essential to ensuring your eye health.
